UCC and LOOT.BET have revealed that they have joined forces to host a qualifier for an as-yet-unannounced $150,000 event that will be held in the United States.
The qualifier will begin with a 16-team GSL group stage, running from December 12-18, with all the matches featuring a best-of-three format.
The top two teams from each of the four groups will earn spots in the final stage, joining eight invited sides in a best-of-three, single-elimination bracket that will run from December 19-28.
Only the winner of the qualifier will secure a berth at the North American event, the details of which are expected to be revealed soon, according to UCC.
